What the format actually is
The Adventure Challenge built its name on a scratch-off book format: each page hides an activity under a scratch-off coating, so you commit before you know exactly what you're doing, the same basic mechanic as a lottery ticket. The original Couples Edition applies that to general date-night activities. The ...In Bed line takes the identical mechanic and points it specifically at the bedroom — same format, deliberately different content.
What we own
Couples Edition — the original, not bedroom-specific
50 general scratch-off date-night adventures. This is the flagship product the brand is actually known for, and it's not explicitly sexual — more date-night and connection-focused, with intimacy as one flavor among many rather than the whole point. If someone's only going to own one Adventure Challenge product, this is usually it.
...In Bed — the bedroom-specific edition
Same 50-scratch-off-challenge format, explicitly reoriented toward sex and intimacy rather than general dates. Per the brand's own product page, challenges range from free to roughly $100, all modifiable to fit any budget — this isn't a book that requires spending money to use it. Worth noting: the brand explicitly addresses LGBTQ+ use directly on the product page, acknowledging the book uses he/she pronouns in places while stating it's designed to work for any couple — a more direct, specific answer than most similar products bother giving.
Connection Cards | ...In Bed Edition — the companion, not a replacement
A separate, smaller product: 50 pocket-sized question cards designed to pair with the ...In Bed book rather than stand alone, aimed at conversation and getting-to-know-each-other prompts rather than physical challenges. The highest-rated of the three on the brand's own site — 4.8 out of 5 across 38 reviews.
Who it's for
Couples who want structure around trying new things without having to be the one who suggests it every time — the scratch-off format does the "whose idea was this" work for you. It pairs naturally with our sex games for couples guide if you're building out a broader rotation rather than committing to one book.
